"Nature is painting for us, day after day, pictures of infinite beauty if only we have the eyes to see them." John Ruskin
What pictures of infinite beauty have you seen and taken this summer?
The summer season officially ends on September 21st, but Labor Day weekend feels like the unofficial finish. I'm always a little sad to see it go. But the good thing is it's followed by fall, and fall brings its own beauty.
So today, in honor of the waning weeks of this season, I want to share a few of my favorite pictures of beauty from this summer. Most of these are new to the blog, but you may recognize a few from Facebook or Instagram. I hope you enjoy them.
Early morning walk
Connemara marble. Looks like land and water and sky to me.
A simple daisy, fully open, offering its face to the world
A delicate, colorful rose surrounded by other kinds of beauty.
A bird's feather gracing the concrete walkway in a local park.
Three levels of beauty
